وَالنّٰزِعٰتِ غَرْقًا ۟ۙ By those [angels] who extract with violence — Saheeh International وَّالنّٰشِطٰتِ نَشْطًا ۟ۙ And [by] those who remove with ease — Saheeh International وَّالسّٰبِحٰتِ سَبْحًا ۟ۙ And [by] those who glide [as if] swimming — Saheeh International فَالسّٰبِقٰتِ سَبْقًا ۟ۙ And those who race each other in a race — Saheeh International فَالْمُدَبِّرٰتِ اَمْرًا ۟ۘ And those who arrange [each] matter, — Saheeh International یَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ الرَّاجِفَةُ ۟ۙ On the Day the blast [of the Horn] will convulse [creation], — Saheeh International تَتْبَعُهَا الرَّادِفَةُ ۟ؕ There will follow it the subsequent [one]. — Saheeh International قُلُوْبٌ یَّوْمَىِٕذٍ وَّاجِفَةٌ ۟ۙ Hearts, that Day, will tremble, — Saheeh International اَبْصَارُهَا خَاشِعَةٌ ۟ۘ Their eyes humbled. — Saheeh International یَقُوْلُوْنَ ءَاِنَّا لَمَرْدُوْدُوْنَ فِی الْحَافِرَةِ ۟ؕ They are [presently] saying, "Will we indeed be returned to [our] former state [of life]? — Saheeh International ءَاِذَا كُنَّا عِظَامًا نَّخِرَةً ۟ؕ Even if we should be decayed bones? — Saheeh International قَالُوْا تِلْكَ اِذًا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٌ ۟ۘ They say, "That, then, would be a losing return." — Saheeh International فَاِنَّمَا هِیَ زَجْرَةٌ وَّاحِدَةٌ ۟ۙ Indeed, it will be but one shout, — Saheeh International فَاِذَا هُمْ بِالسَّاهِرَةِ ۟ؕ And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface. — Saheeh International هَلْ اَتٰىكَ حَدِیْثُ مُوْسٰی ۟ۘ Has there reached you the story of Moses? - — Saheeh International اِذْ نَادٰىهُ رَبُّهٗ بِالْوَادِ الْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًی ۟ۚ When his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, — Saheeh International اِذْهَبْ اِلٰی فِرْعَوْنَ اِنَّهٗ طَغٰی ۟ؗۖ "Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. — Saheeh International فَقُلْ هَلْ لَّكَ اِلٰۤی اَنْ تَزَكّٰی ۟ۙ And say to him, 'Would you [be willing to] purify yourself — Saheeh International وَاَهْدِیَكَ اِلٰی رَبِّكَ فَتَخْشٰی ۟ۚ And let me guide you to your Lord so you would fear [Him]?'" — Saheeh International فَاَرٰىهُ الْاٰیَةَ الْكُبْرٰی ۟ؗۖ And he showed him the greatest sign, — Saheeh International فَكَذَّبَ وَعَصٰی ۟ؗۖ But Pharaoh denied and disobeyed. — Saheeh International ثُمَّ اَدْبَرَ یَسْعٰی ۟ؗۖ Then he turned his back, striving. — Saheeh International فَحَشَرَ فَنَادٰی ۟ؗۖ And he gathered [his people] and called out — Saheeh International فَقَالَ اَنَا رَبُّكُمُ الْاَعْلٰی ۟ؗۖ And said, "I am your most exalted lord." — Saheeh International فَاَخَذَهُ اللّٰهُ نَكَالَ الْاٰخِرَةِ وَالْاُوْلٰی ۟ؕ So Allah seized him in exemplary punishment for the last and the first [transgression]. — Saheeh International اِنَّ فِیْ ذٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِّمَنْ یَّخْشٰی ۟ؕ۠ Indeed in that is a warning for whoever would fear [Allah]. — Saheeh International ءَاَنْتُمْ اَشَدُّ خَلْقًا اَمِ السَّمَآءُ ؕ بَنٰىهَا ۟ۙ Are you a more difficult creation or is the heaven? Allah constructed it. — Saheeh International رَفَعَ سَمْكَهَا فَسَوّٰىهَا ۟ۙ He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. — Saheeh International وَاَغْطَشَ لَیْلَهَا وَاَخْرَجَ ضُحٰىهَا ۪۟ And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. — Saheeh International وَالْاَرْضَ بَعْدَ ذٰلِكَ دَحٰىهَا ۟ؕ And after that He spread the earth. — Saheeh International اَخْرَجَ مِنْهَا مَآءَهَا وَمَرْعٰىهَا ۪۟ He extracted from it its water and its pasture, — Saheeh International وَالْجِبَالَ اَرْسٰىهَا ۟ۙ And the mountains He set firmly — Saheeh International مَتَاعًا لَّكُمْ وَلِاَنْعَامِكُمْ ۟ؕ As provision for you and your grazing livestock. — Saheeh International فَاِذَا جَآءَتِ الطَّآمَّةُ الْكُبْرٰی ۟ؗۖ But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - — Saheeh International یَوْمَ یَتَذَكَّرُ الْاِنْسَانُ مَا سَعٰی ۟ۙ The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, — Saheeh International وَبُرِّزَتِ الْجَحِیْمُ لِمَنْ یَّرٰی ۟ And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see - — Saheeh International فَاَمَّا مَنْ طَغٰی ۟ۙ So as for he who transgressed — Saheeh International وَاٰثَرَ الْحَیٰوةَ الدُّنْیَا ۟ۙ And preferred the life of the world, — Saheeh International فَاِنَّ الْجَحِیْمَ هِیَ الْمَاْوٰی ۟ؕ Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. — Saheeh International وَاَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهٖ وَنَهَی النَّفْسَ عَنِ الْهَوٰی ۟ۙ But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, — Saheeh International فَاِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ هِیَ الْمَاْوٰی ۟ؕ Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. — Saheeh International یَسْـَٔلُوْنَكَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ اَیَّانَ مُرْسٰىهَا ۟ؕ They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? — Saheeh International فِیْمَ اَنْتَ مِنْ ذِكْرٰىهَا ۟ؕ In what [position] are you that you should mention it? — Saheeh International اِلٰی رَبِّكَ مُنْتَهٰىهَا ۟ؕ To your Lord is its finality. — Saheeh International اِنَّمَاۤ اَنْتَ مُنْذِرُ مَنْ یَّخْشٰىهَا ۟ؕ You are only a warner for those who fear it. — Saheeh International كَاَنَّهُمْ یَوْمَ یَرَوْنَهَا لَمْ یَلْبَثُوْۤا اِلَّا عَشِیَّةً اَوْ ضُحٰىهَا ۟۠ It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. — Saheeh International
