وَالْفَجْرِ ۟ۙ By the dawn — Saheeh International وَلَیَالٍ عَشْرٍ ۟ۙ And [by] ten nights — Saheeh International وَّالشَّفْعِ وَالْوَتْرِ ۟ۙ And [by] the even [number] and the odd — Saheeh International وَالَّیْلِ اِذَا یَسْرِ ۟ۚ And [by] the night when it passes, — Saheeh International هَلْ فِیْ ذٰلِكَ قَسَمٌ لِّذِیْ حِجْرٍ ۟ؕ Is there [not] in [all] that an oath [sufficient] for one of perception? — Saheeh International اَلَمْ تَرَ كَیْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ ۟ Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with 'Aad - — Saheeh International اِرَمَ ذَاتِ الْعِمَادِ ۟ [With] Iram - who had lofty pillars, — Saheeh International الَّتِیْ لَمْ یُخْلَقْ مِثْلُهَا فِی الْبِلَادِ ۟ The likes of whom had never been created in the land? — Saheeh International وَثَمُوْدَ الَّذِیْنَ جَابُوا الصَّخْرَ بِالْوَادِ ۟ And [with] Thamud, who carved out the rocks in the valley? — Saheeh International وَفِرْعَوْنَ ذِی الْاَوْتَادِ ۟ And [with] Pharaoh, owner of the stakes? - — Saheeh International الَّذِیْنَ طَغَوْا فِی الْبِلَادِ ۟ [All of] whom oppressed within the lands — Saheeh International فَاَكْثَرُوْا فِیْهَا الْفَسَادَ ۟ And increased therein the corruption. — Saheeh International فَصَبَّ عَلَیْهِمْ رَبُّكَ سَوْطَ عَذَابٍ ۟ۚۙ So your Lord poured upon them a scourge of punishment. — Saheeh International اِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَبِالْمِرْصَادِ ۟ؕ Indeed, your Lord is in observation. — Saheeh International فَاَمَّا الْاِنْسَانُ اِذَا مَا ابْتَلٰىهُ رَبُّهٗ فَاَكْرَمَهٗ وَنَعَّمَهٗ ۙ۬ فَیَقُوْلُ رَبِّیْۤ اَكْرَمَنِ ۟ؕ And as for man, when his Lord tries him and [thus] is generous to him and favors him, he says, "My Lord has honored me." — Saheeh International وَاَمَّاۤ اِذَا مَا ابْتَلٰىهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَیْهِ رِزْقَهٗ ۙ۬ فَیَقُوْلُ رَبِّیْۤ اَهَانَنِ ۟ۚ But when He tries him and restricts his provision, he says, "My Lord has humiliated me." — Saheeh International كَلَّا بَلْ لَّا تُكْرِمُوْنَ الْیَتِیْمَ ۟ۙ No! But you do not honor the orphan — Saheeh International وَلَا تَحٰٓضُّوْنَ عَلٰی طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِیْنِ ۟ۙ And you do not encourage one another to feed the poor. — Saheeh International وَتَاْكُلُوْنَ التُّرَاثَ اَكْلًا لَّمًّا ۟ۙ And you consume inheritance, devouring [it] altogether, — Saheeh International وَّتُحِبُّوْنَ الْمَالَ حُبًّا جَمًّا ۟ؕ And you love wealth with immense love. — Saheeh International كَلَّاۤ اِذَا دُكَّتِ الْاَرْضُ دَكًّا دَكًّا ۟ۙ No! When the earth has been leveled - pounded and crushed - — Saheeh International وَّجَآءَ رَبُّكَ وَالْمَلَكُ صَفًّا صَفًّا ۟ۚ And your Lord has come and the angels, rank upon rank, — Saheeh International وَجِایْٓءَ یَوْمَىِٕذٍۭ بِجَهَنَّمَ ۙ۬ یَوْمَىِٕذٍ یَّتَذَكَّرُ الْاِنْسَانُ وَاَنّٰی لَهُ الذِّكْرٰی ۟ؕ And brought [within view], that Day, is Hell - that Day, man will remember, but what good to him will be the remembrance? — Saheeh International یَقُوْلُ یٰلَیْتَنِیْ قَدَّمْتُ لِحَیَاتِیْ ۟ۚ He will say, "Oh, I wish I had sent ahead [some good] for my life." — Saheeh International فَیَوْمَىِٕذٍ لَّا یُعَذِّبُ عَذَابَهٗۤ اَحَدٌ ۟ۙ So on that Day, none will punish [as severely] as His punishment, — Saheeh International وَّلَا یُوْثِقُ وَثَاقَهٗۤ اَحَدٌ ۟ؕ And none will bind [as severely] as His binding [of the evildoers]. — Saheeh International یٰۤاَیَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْمُطْمَىِٕنَّةُ ۟ۗۖ [To the righteous it will be said], "O reassured soul, — Saheeh International ارْجِعِیْۤ اِلٰی رَبِّكِ رَاضِیَةً مَّرْضِیَّةً ۟ۚ Return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to Him], — Saheeh International فَادْخُلِیْ فِیْ عِبٰدِیْ ۟ۙ And enter among My [righteous] servants — Saheeh International وَادْخُلِیْ جَنَّتِیْ ۟۠ And enter My Paradise." — Saheeh International
